Unfortunately, for reasons we aren’t sure of, hotel rooms on the weekend of the workshop are both limited in availability and more expensive than normal this year. However, we do have access to rooms at a number of local hotels at negotiated university rates, including the AC Hotel ($219/night king; $229/night queen) and The Graduate ($235/night). To review options and book, please email Jo Garrett, our administrative coordinator, at jogarrett@unc.edu, as soon as possible. Of course, you may be able to find other deals yourself by shopping around. Another option is to book an AirBnB; Chapel Hill and Carrboro have a good supply of them, and it looks like they may be considerably more affordable than hotel rooms that weekend.
